The complete system for every requirement
The SmartBox^® 4 LAN offers a wide range of options for monitoring the content of your tank and for data transfer via a local area network (LAN). The basic component is an electronic remote level indicator that can be used to transmit the measurement data from up to four tanks using the integrated LAN connection.
The continuous power supply, combined with a separate power storage system, increases reporting reliability compared to other commonly used battery-operated solutions. Extremely accurate measurement technology is used in the probes. The basis is a hydrostatic measuring process that guarantees accuracy to a maximum deviation of 0.33%. This technology is made in Germany and is used in several thousand systems.

High degree of functionality and a wide range of applications
The probes can be used in tanks containing various materials - such as fuel oil or liquid biogenic substances - and can be equipped with many different functions. Apart from measurements such as level, minimum level and level changes, these functions also include temperature measurements with switching functions and event reports, such as a minimum level alarm and system faults.

The data can be transferred to a PC network (LAN/intranet) directly via the LAN connection. The data is viewed easily using a browser, which means that no special software or licences are required. Alternatively, the SmartBox^® 4 LAN can also be queried and monitored via the Internet using a PC with Internet access. This opens up many different possibilities, such as connection to the Smart-Inspector^® database. This database solution monitors the complete system and is able to trigger various processes, from ordering the storage medium to notifying a service technician.

Smart-Inspector^® is configured via a PC and the Internet. Its functions can be changed at any time, such as when there are new requirement profiles for individual tank locations. Smart-Inspector^® also increases overall system transparency for operators and their customers. The latest data from all systems can be called up each day with a mouse click. The continuous availability of all level data supports optimum scheduling of the storage media deliveries at short notice, which in professional applications can also reduce costs. Procurement processes can be optimised with the log functions and consumption statistics. In addition, event reports and automatic commands can be defined and reviewed.
